Our Story
Southland E & I Services, Inc. is a full-service electrical construction and engineering contractor. We specialize in industrial electrical, automation, instrumentation, and control. Our services include complete electrical and instrumentation construction services, ongoing or as needed E & I maintenance services, and complete electrical engineering and design services.
For the past 18 years, we have provided full-time, part-time, and as needed E & I maintenance support for many major Oil & Gas Pipeline companies in the LA Basin area including ARCO/BP/Tesoro, Plains All American Pipeline, P66, Kinder Morgan, Shell, and Exxon/Mobile.
Southland E & I Services prides itself on quality workmanship and building lasting relationships with its clients. Over 95% of our work is from repeat clients who rely on our expertise and ability to get the job done right.
Our Team
At Southland E & I Services Inc., we know that qualified field staff make up the foundation of any contracting company. That is why our highly-skilled and trained field service staff must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Five years of training in a State of California recognized (SB 54 Compliant) apprenticeship program
- State of California Electricians Certification License.
- Enrollment in a Department of Transportation PHMSA Regulations Part 199 and Part 40 random drug testing program. We also comply with the LACC (Los Angeles Clean Card) random drug testing program per customer request.
- Membership in ISNetworld, Compliance, Records Management and Reporting for their DOT/Operator Qualification record keeping.
- Our technicians hold certifications for all of the Electrical and Instrumentation Operator Qualified tasks.
- Enrollment in TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
- We also encourage and provide ongoing training so our technicians remain at the top of their field.
In addition, our senior management staff has over 100 years of combined experience working in the electrical industry throughout Southern California.
